Generous pledges help progress of senior priest apartments initiative
The Diocese of Owensboro’s Faithful Foundations Campaign for the construction of new senior priest retirement apartments continues to move forward with tremendous generosity and gratitude from parishioners across western Kentucky.
New sanctuary floor in Union County
Under advisement of Fr. Brandon Williams, co-coordinator of the Diocese of Owensboro’s Office of Worship, and the support of our new pastor, Fr. Jojy Joseph, the parish communities of St. Francis Borgia in Sturgis and St. Ambrose in Henshaw were overjoyed to announce that St. Francis Borgia’s sanctuary floor is fully refurbished.

The theme for the Jubilee Year 2025 is “Pilgrims of Hope.” As we near the end of this Jubilee Year, Mass attendance across our diocese in 2025 has risen above 50% for the first time since before the COVID-19 pandemic.
