Diocese’s seminarians gather for prayer, brotherhood
BY WKC STAFF
During the final days of July, the Office of Vocations brought together the Diocese of Owensboro’s 14 seminarians for a summer gathering to pray and grow in brotherhood before school began.
They attended Mass at the McRaith Catholic Center in Owensboro and met with several diocesan offices; and visited the sisters and residents at the Carmel Home, the Ursuline Sisters of Mount Saint Joseph, and the Passionist Nuns of St. Joseph Monastery. On Sunday, July 26, they attended the 11 a.m. Mass with Bishop William F. Medley at St. Stephen Cathedral in Owensboro and were officially introduced to the people of the diocese.
Please pray for all 14 of these men as they discern God’s will for their lives. To learn more about priestly vocations in the diocese, contact [email protected] or visit owensborovocations.com.
