Sister Servants of the Eternal Word help with Paducah VBS

BY FR. BRUCE FOGLE, SPECIAL TO THE WESTERN KENTUCKY CATHOLIC

Three of the Sister Servants of the Eternal Word – Sr. Joseph Marie, S.s.E.W, who grew up in the Diocese of Owensboro; Sr. Mary Faustina, S.s.E.W; and Sr. Marie Therese, S.s.E.W – traveled from their Motherhouse in Birmingham, Ala., to St. John the Evangelist Parish in Paducah for Vacation Bible School on June 11-14, 2024.

The sisters shared their faith with our youth and volunteers by lessons, crafts, games, prayer time and stories that reinforced the daily themes of Baptism, the Eucharist, the Sacred Heart and Mary and the saints during our four-day VBS.
