After sewing colorful blankets for My Sister’s keeper, an emergency shelter for women and children in Owensboro, the Ursuline Sisters of Mount Saint Joseph delivered them on March 22, 2024. The blankets were made by several Ursuline Sisters and Associates as a service project during Catholic Sisters Week (March 8-14). All of the blankets will be given to women served by the shelter when they move out.

“A lot of these women have nothing. We want them to have something of their own when they leave here,” Welsh said.
