Hardinsburg community supports soon-to-be ordained seminarians

BY TOM AULL, SPECIAL TO THE WESTERN KENTUCKY CATHOLIC

The Knights of Columbus Hardinsburg Council #2499, along with the St. Romuald Altar Society, teamed up to provide a donation of $1,000 to two soon-to-be-ordained seminarians of the diocese. The council’s Grand Knight, Chris Brumfield, presented the donations to Deacon Christopher Grief and Deacon Christopher Kight at the Owensboro Sportscenter on April 4, 2023. That evening, the diocese had gathered at the Sportscenter for the annual Chrism Mass. Both deacons are scheduled to be ordained on May 20 in Paducah.
