BY KARA BURCH, SPECIAL TO THE WESTERN KENTUCKY CATHOLIC

We had a live nativity at St. William and St. Lawrence Parishes on Jan. 2, 2022, the Feast of the Epiphany. It was held at St. William in Knottsville, but it was a combined community event. It was open for anyone to attend. It had been an annual tradition but stopped for several years. Now, we have done it for the past two years.

The children who participated were Reese Boehman, Maggie Turner, Elliott Turner, Thomas Turner, Joe Varble, Jake French, Jayleigh French, Derek Varble, and Jarret French.

Kara Burch is the director of religious education for St. William Parish in Knottsville and St. Lawrence Parish in Philpot.
